With Spring Cleaning under way here is a list of our six go-to products that can make cleaning less unpleasant. Who doesn’t want tips to make cleaning easier?
The name is no lie; it really is magic! This little sponge erases nearly all scuffs or unwanted marks—on any surface—with minimal effort on your part. All you need to do is get the sponge wet and start scrubbing.
2. Goo Gone
This citrus-scented cleaner removes all those sticky spots that never seem to disappear. Goo Gone can remove gum, tape residue, scuff marks, paint and can be used on nearly any surface. Make sure to read the label on what surfaces it shouldn’t be used on.
Swiffer Dusters are the easiest way to pick up dust at a relatively cheap cost. The Swiffer is better than other dusters because it actually picks up the dust and holds it in instead of just redistributing it.
4. White Vinegar
White vinegar is essential for cleaning. It can be used to disinfect, deodorize and remove stains. Try using white vinegar in your laundry to dispel of any mildew smell. The best part is that one gallon of white vinegar usually costs around $2.50, which is really cheap!
5. Baking Soda
Baking Soda has many uses other than for baking. It absorbs strong odors, so it is perfect for cleaning the house. It is also ideal to scrub dirt and grime with because of it’s gentile but abrasive texture. If you mix baking soda with water and white vinegar it can be used as an all-purpose cleaner/scrub.
These pads are made from steel wool and powerful soap to help cut through grease and even old food that is somehow still on the bottom of your oven.
